• Chesapeake Bay Segments - CBPSEGs

Chesapeake Bay Program Segments (CBPSEGs) collectively form a grid over the Chesapeake Bay and its tidal tributaries, that can be used (amongst other things) for plotting/mapping/tracking data.

CBPSEGs individually are 92 segments placed uniquely on the grid.

CBPSEGs were initially created for the purpose of water quality criteria assignment: monitoring and modeling Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL).
